2021 youth Softball Information

Due to the ever-increasing demand for field usage and additional uncertainties due to pandemic measures, we'll be providing anticipated game times for each of the tournaments as the dates approach. Generally, each Game day will begin at approximately 8 a.m. and conclude at a reasonable hour in the evening. Based on the number of teams who register to participate, some times might change slightly- aiming to begin early-morning play later and/or end late-evening play earlier than listed whenever possible.

 

Games

Your Games will be played over one, two, or three-days with a minimum of 3 or 4 games. All games will have 2 umpires.  

If you would like to be put on the waiting list for any of the following dates because one or more are already sold out, please sign up for the wait list via the registration link for the relevant dates. Teams are added from the waiting list when one or more registered teams drop out or we're able to expand the available time in order to accommodate more teams.

Reservation/Payment Procedures [Please read carefully]

1.  On-line registration. Click the registration button associated with the Game date(s) in which you wish to participate.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU Print out the registration confirmation page when you complete your registration.

2.  Mail payment. Print out the registration confirmation page and include it when you mail your check payable to Dan Neumann, 120 Campbell Road, Trumbull, Conn. 06611. Registration will be formal/final once payment is received.  Based on postmarks, payments will be honored on a first mailed, first served basis.

Game Registration Procedures

Each Game Day will accept to the maximum number of teams stated above. If the Date(s) you wish to enter is full please sign up via the registration link and you will be placed on the wait list. 

We will accept registrations with FULL PAYMENT on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.

Game day formats will include three games with all teams advancing to seeded games. Games will be 1hr 15mins, no-new-inning except for the last games of the game days.

Game Date Cancellation Policy [Please read carefully]
Although we try to work with all teams that enter our events, it is important to understand the problems that are created when a team registers for an event and then does not follow through with their commitment to participate.  When you enter a Game Date, we make a commitment to you. We expect the same type of commitment in return. These instances not only affect our organization but every other organization that has made a commitment to play. Therefore, the following Cancellation Policy is in effect:

·       All cancellations must be received in writing via e-mail to Dan Neumann at DCA120@sbcglobal.net or Ross Kinkade at rkinkade2927@att.net and you must make sure you receive confirmation via email from us. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

·       Teams that cancel out of an event more than 30 days prior to the start of the event will be issued a refund check for the full amount of the entry fee minus a $50 administrative fee if the Game Date is canceled or we find a replacement team to sign up and play in their place. Alternatively, the team may opt to have their Game Date fee credited to signing up for a Game Date later in the season by paying the $50 administrative fee.

·       Inside 30 days, there will be no refunds.

·       As the only exception to these provisions, if cancellations are caused by pandemic issues our intention is to refund fees to the fullest extent possible or provide credit toward a Game Date if the team wishes.

We reserve the right to determine which game dates will proceed based on registrations. 

If registrations fall short of the full number of teams that a Game Date can accommodate, we reserve the right to re-format the the games if at least four teams are registered.
